Vice chancellor of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (Bamu) Dr Vijay Pandharipande said the peer team of the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) had expressed its satisfaction over the academic progress and sincere efforts of the university for sustaining the quality of higher education in the region.
He said the peer team had visited the local as well as the Osmanabad sub-centre of the university as part of its re-accreditation formalities.
"Hard work and dedicated efforts of members of the Management Council, faculty members, non-teaching staff, alumni and parents are responsible for the encouraging and positive remarks made by the NAAC peer team," he said.
While pointing out that quality is a continuous process and it is a big challenge for all to continue the march of academic excellence with the same zeal, the VC said, "We have left no stone unturned in presenting our case and are now waiting for the result."
Expressing gratitude to all, registrar Dr Dhanraj Mane said the way all the stakeholders showed enthusiasm and shouldered their responsibilities, should continue to do so in future for improving the quality and status of the university.
