MIT team qualifies 1st round of SAE - Source LT


A team of the Marathwada Institute of Technology (MIT) has qualified the first round of SAE Baja-2014, conducted by the Society of Automotive Engineering (SAE) India.
The institute was among 125 colleges selected from the country for the BAJA SAE series, an event for undergraduate engineering students, organised by SAE of USA, called MINI BAJA, after 367 institutes from the country participated in the first round of the inter-collegiate event.
The MIT team, called 'MIT ADRASTOS' will now represent the city the next round of the mega event, which is to be held in Indore. 
Members Karan Bansal, Prayanya Kendrekear, Sanket Koranne, Meena Mhaisekar, Deepak Raparti, Swapnil Damkondwar, Chandrshekhar Pawar, Robin Roy, Abhijeet Wanare, Ambarish Narsapure, Asiwharya Joshi, Abhijeet Shingare, Saurabh Bhale, Sudhanshu Nafde, Atif Khan, Sbubham Viajyvergia, Akash Joshi, Anurag Save, Aniket Jadhav, Ashish Rangdale, Akshay Rautray, Nilesh Borse, Yogesh Ghumte, Sahunak Kulkarni and Ishan Dabri saw that it was the guidance given by MIT director general Munish Sharma, principal Dr C L Gogte, Dr Nilesh Patil, professors Sandeep Patila and Avinash C Gadekar that helped them succeed.
