External courses admission process - Source LT


Hefty hike in fees
For the first time, the university has increased the fee of external course by 10 to 13 times. A student who used to pay Rs 500 for the BA first year, will now have to spend Rs 5,000 besides prospectus fee.
Similarly, a student seeking admission to MA first should pay Rs 7,000 instead of earlier Rs 600. 


The Examinations Department of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University has begun admission process for external courses since August 1.
The in-service students who cannot attend the regular classes can apply for BA, MA and M Sc (Mathematics) courses (first to final semester). Names of some of the subjects are MA Marathi, Hindi, Urdu, Sanskrit, English, Pali, Arabic, History, Economics, Political Science and Public Administration.
Students can purchase prospectus by paying Rs 500 at Examinations Department of the local campus or university's Osmanabad sub-centre until August 30. Controller of Examinations Dr Ashok Chavan has appealed to the students to contact the centre concerned for application form and details.
