• Last date for applying is Sept 30
The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) has asked the colleges to display the details of the 'merit-cum-means based scholarship' on their noticeboards and get its applications filled immediately.
The DTE had started an online submission of the applications in the first week of this month. However, many students studying in courses like BE, B Pharm, MCA, MBA, MMS, Health Science Course, LLB, CA and CS are not aware of this scholarship and are like to miss it.
Therefore, the DTE has directed all colleges to display the details of this scholarship on their noticeboards and get the online application forms from students submitted through their website (www.momascholarship.gov.in) and forward them to the DTE division office through the office login ID after scrutiny. Students of minority communities pursuing technical and professional education for the academic year 2013-14 are eligible for it. Economically weaker and meritorious students belonging to Muslim, Sikh, Buddhist, Christian and Parsi communities should have passed the common entrance test and obtained minimum 50 per cent marks at the qualifying examination. The last date for the online submission of the applications for fresh candidates is September 30, while the last date for the submission of the duly signed hard copies is October 10.
