The Aurangabad Branch of the Western India Regional Council, Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) will host Maharashtra Mega CPE Conference on August 9 and 10 here at Tapadiya Natya Mandir. This two-day knowledge carnival will see participation of CAs from Maharashtra. Former speaker of Maharashtra Legislative Assembly CA Arun Gujrathi will inaugurate the conference in the presence of Chairman, WIRC of ICAI CA Mangesh Kinare, said CA Rajkumar Kothari, Chairman, Aurangabad Branch of WIRC of ICAI.
The conference theme is IDEA i.e. Integrity and Dignity Ethically Assured. Speakers and their subjects will be as follows: CA (Dr) Girish Ahuja - Section 56 Real Estate Transactions under Income Tax; CA Bhupendra Shah (Mumbai) - Implications of Hawala Purchases under Income Tax; CA Ankit Chande - 'Service Tax Amnesty Scheme'; CA Durgesh Kabra - Roles and responsibilities of CAs in Corporate Governance; Adv Nikita Badheka - Issues in Assessment Proceedings under MVAT Act; Shankar Jadhav, head, strategy at BSE - 'SME Listing at BSE' and CA Nandan Savnal - Time Management for CAs.
