n Registration process begins
The convocation ceremony of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University will be held in January 2014. The students who were declared passed in October/November 2012 and March/April 2013 will only be awarded degrees. The candidates can obtain the degree form from the university's publication centre or download it from its website.
They will have to submit the form along with all attested copies of relevant documents on or before October 31.
No application form will be accepted through post.
Those who are first degree holders and want to collect the degree personally will have to pay Rs 200 (including Rs 100 as registration fee). For the second degree holders, the fee will be Rs 300 while that for M Phil and Ph D holders will be Rs 500 and Rs 600 respectively.
If anybody wants degree by post in the State, he/she will have to pay Rs 50 (Rs 100 for out State candidates) extra.
The students who will not apply before convocation ceremony will have to pay Rs 100 fine (for the first year) and Rs 50 for every next year. Controller of examinations Dr Ashok Chavan said that the students who have passed before October 2012 need apply to seek degree in the convocation.
