￭ A move to ensure transparency
Two primary health centers at Aland and Gadana in the district have been made online on a pilot project.
Now details of every patient treated at the centers, stock of medicines and attendance of the doctors would be available online. If this experiment clicks, same would be replicated in entire district, said collector Vikram Kumar.
He further said, "The administration is trying to make more people aware of the technology. Recently bio metric system was introduced in few ration shops in the city on a pilot basis. The attendance of talathis and village development officers would be recorded through Android mobile."
He further added, "In third phase, PHCs are being made online and Gadana and Aland have been selected on a pilot project. These two centers have been provided with I-pad. Every patient coming to centre would be recorded in I-Pad then he/she would be given treatment. It would also maintain online records like how many patients were examined, their categorization, available stock of medicines and attendance of the doctors and staff at the centre. It is a pilot project and it would be replicated at other 50 PHCs provided it is successful at the two centers. "
