Choice of dates and cities for students
The online registration process for Common Management Admission Test (CMAT)-2014-15 has started for admission to different management courses.
The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) decided to conduct a single entrance test CMAT for the admission from academic 2012-13 to lessen the burden of students from taking to multiple examinations.
The AICTE further decided to conduct CMAT twice a year from 2013 for facilitating institutions to select suitable students for admission in all management programmes approved by it.
The first test will be conducted in September 2013 and second in February 2014.
The scores will be awarded and all-India merit list will be prepared for both the examinations. Better of the two scores will be used for admission for 2014-15. The last date of registration is August 21 while the students can take print of hall tickets from September 12 onwards.
The computer-based test will be held in 62 cities from September 26 to 30 daily in two shifts.
The students will have choice of three dates and as many cities for taking online examinations in the order of preference.
The fee for general and OBC category students is Rs 1200 while for reserved category students Rs 600. The result will be declared on October 20. Choice of dates and cities for students
