City lass Neha Kulkarni has been selected as Google student ambassador.
Neha, who is a student of Maharashtra Institute of Technology Computer Science here, now will undergo a one-year training programme.
To be organised by Google, the training programme aims at helping students update their knowledge of the ever-changing computer technology. Students also get an opportunity to act as liaisons between Google and their universities. MIT is the only organisation from Marathwada which is associated with Google. A total 443 institutes had participated from all over India in the Google student ambassador programme and six students were finalised. After an online test and telephonic interview with these six students, Google panel finally selected Neha. Neha's experience as a Google student ambassador will stand her in good stead when it comes to her career. MIT director general Munish Sharma has congratulated Neha.
