Morcha, bandh on July 10 - Source LT


n Parties join hands to flay attack on Mahabodhi temple complex in Bodhgaya.
All-party political leaders and office-bearers have joined hands to take out a peaceful march to condemn the reprehensible attack on Mahabodhi temple complex in Bodhgaya, on July 10. 
The morcha will start from Paithan Gate and culminate at the divisional commissionerate. 
While addressing a press conference at Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Research Centre at 4 pm, the leaders urged the colleges, schools and businessmen to extend support by closing down their establishments between 11 am to 3 pm. The transport facilities - bus, auto and tempo - will also be halting their services. 
The agitators, however, assured that they will take care that the health and water supply facilities remain unaffected on the day. 
The press meet was attended by the mayor Kala Ozha, MLA Pradeep Jaiswal, BJP leader Atul Save, Sena president Ambadas Danve, Congress leaders Pramod Rathod and Mir Hidayat Ali, veteran RPI leader Ratankumar Pandagale, Gautam Kharat, Buddhpriya Kabir, Ashfaq Salami, Javed Qureshi, Baburao Kadam, corporators Krishna Bankar, Milind Dabhade and Amit Bhuigad etc. The office-bearers of business organisations, Aadeshpalsingh Chabbada, Praful Malani and others were also present on the occasion. 
Through their brief speeches, the all-party-leaders condemned the heinous act posing threat to communal harmony. They urged that adequate private security be provided at important places of worship to avoid repetition of the incident. All of them demanded a thorough, fair and transparent investigation of the attack. 
The members also demanded that a special general body meeting be held to condemn the incident and convey their feelings to the state government.
