The Examinations Department of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (BAMU) has announced the schedule of examinations to be conducted in October/November 2013 and March April 2014 sessions.
Addressing a press conference here on Tuesday, controller of examinations Dr Ashok Chavan said that they will use information technology (IT) to conduct examinations and declare results on time.
Dr Chavan said that the examinations of the first session will be held before Diwali festival.
He informed the newsmen that the examinations of BA, B Sc, B Com, BCA (Science) along with LLB, LLM, B Ed, M Ed, B PEd and M P Ed courses will start from October 8.
The students of MA (MCJ), B Lib and M Lib courses will take their examinations from October 17. The examinations of DBM, BCA, MCA and MBA, which are under the purview of the management faculty, will commence on November 31.
The Department will hold examinations of the first semester of engineering from December 5 while examinations of the second, third, fourth and B Tech, M Tech, B Pharm, M Pharm will begin on November 18.
The examinations of the second session of undergraduate courses will start from March 7 while the postgraduate students will appear for their next exam from March 21.
Deputy registrar D M Netke was also present. For the first time, the university has announced the schedule of examinations of both the sessions at the beginning of the new academic year.
