ST to increase bus fares from today - Source LT

■ Shivneri fare to Pune is Rs. 585
The Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) has decided to hike the fares from Monday (July 1). Now, journey to Pune via Shivneri Volvo's (AC bus service) will cost Rs. 585 (old fare: Rs. 530).
The passengers will have to shell out more for ST regular bus service to Mumbai in day hour from Aurangabad. The proposed fare will be Rs. 385 (Rs. 362), night service Rs. 452 (Rs. 422) and semi-luxury fare Rs. 523 (Rs. 482). 
Passengers travelling to Nashik by regular bus in day hour will have to pay extra Rs. 12, while for night service there will be an increase of Rs. 16 and semi-luxury bus service will cost Rs. 20 more.
The fare to Nagpur has been increased by Rs. 30, while Rs. 38 has been increased for night travelling. Passengers travelling to Nagpur from Aurangabad in semi-luxury will have to shell out Rs. 51 more i.e. Rs. 663 (Rs. 612). Fares to Solapur, Dhule, Ahmednagar, Kolhapur, Buldhana have been also increased, while Aurangabad to Jalna fare has been increased from Rs. 5 - 15.
Destinations such as Beed, Osmanabad, Latur, Gangapur, Kannad, Vaijapur, Sillod, Soyegaon, Nanded and Parbhani from Aurangabad will also witness increase between Rs. 5 - 18 with effect from Monday.
