Delhi police recruitment exam city digest - Source LT

The Staff Selection Commission is holding an examination for the post of sub-inspector with the Delhi police, in Aurangabad on Sunday (June 23), from 10 am to 12 pm. Nearly 2,984 candidates will appear for the examintion to held at seven centres in the city. The centres are Vivekanand College, IBP Women's College, M P Law College, S B Arts and Commerce College, S B School, A K Waghmare College and Dr Rafiq Zakaria Women's College.
District Electrification Committee meet 

The 84th meeting of the District Electrification Committee will be held at the auditorium of the chief engineer, Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Ltd on June 26 at 11 am. MP Chandrakant Khaire will preside. The meeting will discuss ways to implement district electrification programme effectively. 
Admission to government hostels 
The process of hostel admission to boys and girls from the city who wish to pursue education in standard 11th, vocational and other courses for the academic year 2013-14 has begun. The hostels, which are run by the social justice department, offer free lodging, boarding facility, stipend and educational facilities. The forms are available free of cost. Students have been asked to contact rector, government boys' hostel, Kille Ark and rector, government girls' hostel, Padampura. 
Management plan for Gautala Sanctuary 

The forest department is chalking out a 10-year-project management plan for Gautala Autramghat sanctuary aimed at protecting wildlife, birds in the sanctuary. Various schemes will be implemented for this purpose. NGOs, nature, bird and snake lovers and other knowledgeable persons have been requested to submit their suggestions to the forest department at the earliest, said deputy conservator of forest (wild life). 
MGM students excel in national test

Students of Mahatma Gandhi Mission (MGM) Anil Sadusingh Singh (AIR-130), Shaikh Naseeruddin Isamuddin (132), Dhamale Rahul Devidas (AIR-144) and Dollas Chetan Sahebrao (AIR-144) have achieved success in the all-India entrance examination for admission in UG & PG courses-2013. 
The examination was conducted by the Indian Council for Agricultural Research. MGM secretary Ankushrao Kadam, vice-president Dr P M Jadhav, principal Dr B N Chauhan have congratulated them on their success.
