Students appearing for Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) have heaved a sigh of relief after the decision of deferring the exam was taken.
With merely eight days to go, the data on the MPSC website got corrupt and leading to chaos and stress on the students. Questions are being raised on how the data could get corrupt. Earlier when MPSC declared that the exam would be held as scheduled on April 7, the candidates were nervous as the candidates were waiting for their hall tickets. Thereafter MPSC declared that the candidates had to re-submit their details by April 5. It resulted in a mad rush at various internet cafes. The server of the website became slow as thousands of candidates were using the website at one go. Many students from the city have expressed their happiness over the decision of postponing of the exam since it has relieved them from pressure.
However, these candidates can face one more difficulty as Marathwada is reeling under drought situation.
