Exams of engineering courses from May 12 - Source LT

The examinations of Engineering courses to be conducted by Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (BAMU) are likely to start from May 12.
The Examinations Department prepared the engineering exam schedule few months ago. As per this schedule, students of Engineering were supposed to take examinations from May 22. However, the examinations were preponed by 10 days and decided to hold the exam from May 12.
The examinations of new session cannot be started till the redressal cases of old session are not cleared. Under redressal system, the students are allowed to apply for re-assessment of their answer books.
As per the court orders, the university should give some days for the preparations of exam to those students who are declared unsuccessful. When contacted, controller of examinations Dr Ashok Chavan said that they would start engineering examinations from May 12, but it depends on the declaration of the result of redressal cases. If the result is delayed, the examinations will be postponed, he said.
