Top officers arriving in city on April 10
Top officers of the Department of Electronics and Information Technology (Government of India) will visit the city on April 10 to interact with industrialists and sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (BAMU).
After the MoU signing, the local National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) and the administration of BAMU will jointly launch certain courses on Electronics and Computer Science.
Secretary of Department of Electronics and Information Technology (Government of India) and J Satyanarayana, its joint secretary Ajay Kumar are visiting the city.
Secretary of Industries Department and IT Department (State Government) are also likely to attend the programmes. A hostel for the girl students of NIELIT will be constructed on BAMU campus. The top officers will also lay stone for the construction of the hostel
They will also have interaction with the industrialists from Electronics and IT sector of the State to discuss a tie-up with electronic industry for the participation in the field of capacity building and also for setting up the new projects.
