Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray held meetings with party activists at the Subhedari Guest House on Thursday.
Thackeray heard the problems and complaints of MNS workers in five meetings held throughout the day. He met party workers from Paithan, Vaijapur, Gangapur, Phulambri, Kannad, Sillod, Soygaon as well as the three constituencies in the city. He also met the party's women, students" and teachers" wings. The venue was thronged by MNS workers hours before Thackeray's arrival.
Sources say that while he answered the questions relating to minor issues in 2-3 minutes (PLEASE CLARIFY WHAT THIS MEANS), those with major problems were asked to wait until the end of the tour in April.
Thackeray is on the state tour to review his party"s position before the 2014 general elections. After the tour ends on April 10, 2013, meetings with office bearers and activists will be held at Mumbai, where all major issues will be discussed.
Meanwhile, party sources also said that he refrained from talking about the Tuesday's incident in Ahmednagar, where his convoy was stoned.
The party chief did not address the press, present in large numbers at the venue, after his meeting with MNS workers.
