￭ DTE issues guidelines to make required changes in forms
￭ Last date for submitting online applications is April 7
The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) has issued guidelines to students to carry out corrections, if any, in their MT-CET 2013 online applications.
Candidates who had confirmed their applications, but later noticed that they had made mistakes in name spellings, date of birth, gender and forgot to sign beneath the photo, will have to follow the guidelines given below.
They will have to login again using their application kit number and password and click on "Send Grievances" button. After filling the details as per the grievances, give correct photo with signature and click on "Submit" button. The message will be checked by CET CELL and reply will appear in students login. Students will have to check the grievances status in their login. If it is approved, then take a new printout and submit it to their schools/colleges concerned. Aadhaar Card number is not compulsory and students can keep that column blank.
Change in subject
Candidates who wish to make a change in MT-CET subject should send a message through the mail box provided for this purpose.
On the basis of a student's request for a change in subject, his/her earlier confirmed form will be cancelled and he/she will be allowed to fill an online form again using the same application kit number and password, confirm and take a printout and submit it to school/college concerned. Candidates should logout after finishing the online activity. More than one candidate should not log on to the same computer system at a time.
DTE asks colleges to help students
Meanwhile, the DTE has also asked colleges to help students get their mistakes rectified. The colleges should accept black and white printouts rather than insisting on coloured ones. Schools and colleges will have to ensure that printouts of the rectified forms reach the notified centres on time. The last date for submitting the online application, whose sale had begun on March 18, is April 7.
