3rd additional CMAT in May
The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) will conduct an additional third Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) in the third week of May for admissions in various management courses.

A candidate can make a maximum of two attempts in CMAT in a given academic year and can take admission with better of the two scores, added the sources. The AICTE conducted CMAT twice in September-2012 and February-2013 and now will hold the third in May, this year. The DTE had already announced that admissions of all AICTE-approved management courses would be carried out through CMAT merit list only from 2013-14 onwards. The DTE further stated that it won't hold its entrance test, as it used to, for the admissions in management courses.
