'Exam centres should be within city limits' - Source LT

Samyak Vidyarthi Andolan (SVA) has demanded that centres for various banking and competitive examinations, like IBPS, should be in the city limits. Different banking and competitive examinations are held at colleges located out of the city, putting students to a lot of inconvenience. In a memorandum submitted to the joint director (Technical Education), the students' union stated that aspirants find it difficult to reach far-flung examination centres like Shreyas Engineering College owing to the absence of transportation. The memorandum, signed by Prakash Ingle, Kunal Kharat and Milind Athavle, hinted at launching an agitation if the authorities continued to hold examinations at far-off colleges and institutions.
