An internationally famous Singapore architect, Wong Mun Summ, will address the city architects at the Rukhmani auditorium of JNEC on Thursday at 6 pm. He is coming to Aurangabad to participate in the 19th programme of relationship partner programme being implemented by the city branch of the Indian Institute of Architects.
The chief guest and main speaker, Summ, in his mid-40s, will answer the queries of the audience after an open interaction with a city architect Ajay Kulkarni.
Summ is one of the founder directors of WOHA. He will throw light on the WOHA achievements across the world. An amazing variety of designs in the building works has been done by Summ, in spite of landscaping being the common theme in most of his works. The firm is specially known for the skyscrapers built in China and Australia. Apart from this, the firm also has designed buildings for hotels, schools, colleges, resorts, stations and houses.
The office-bearers of the institute namely Alkesh Gangwal, Ajay Thakur, Niraj Badjate, Sanjay Pathe and Sunil Bhale have appealed to the institute members and students to participate in the programme.
