n Shooting for 'Gentleman Dude' begins today
The main intention behind producing the film in Aurangabad is to provide an opportunity to local youths to showcase their talents. There are many locations in and around the city where shooting of films can be done. We are getting guidance from several experts in the making of this film.
Youths from Aurangabad, or for that matter Marathwada, move to Mumbai to try their luck in Bollywood. But some students, in their bid to change the trend, have decided to make a movie in the city itself.
Titled as 'Gentleman Dude,' the low-budget film (Rs 20 lakh) is based on the life of today's youths and its shooting scheduled to begin in different parts of the city from Wednesday onwards. A joint initiative of students of the Mass Communication and Journalism Department at Dr Bababsaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University and Marathwada Institute of Technology, this one-and-a-half-hour long movie will have three songs and is expected to be ready March 9. Ajit Thombre has written the script.
Rohit Mehta is playing the lead role in this movie, while other cast members include Siddharth Waghmare, Shubham Joshi and others.
